BRIEF
Create a product using the design language of the selected brand.
STARTING POINT – HOW TO MAKE THIS PROJECT MEANINGFUL?
I identified 3 words associated with Taipei: motorized scooters, coffee* and a lot of plastic packaging**.
The first and third keywords pointed me in the direction of the right brand – Gogoro.
It is a Taiwanese company known for its electric scooters and battery-swapping refueling platforms. One of their key strategic areas is a cleaner planet.
Putting all these keywords together, I came up with the idea of a portable coffee maker cup. It would allow users to enjoy their coffee ritual almost anywhere in Taipei.

IDEATION
I identified three main Gogoro scooter design characteristics that I wanted to embody in my product: modern, elegant, and stylish. I also analyzed the design language and CMF of the Gogoro products, which I then applied to my own product.
FINAL DESIGN – value proposition
This portable coffee maker cup is designed for a busy bee woman in Taipei who rides a Gogoro scooter every day. Three times a day, no matter where she is, she can enjoy the fresh taste of her favorite coffee. With this coffee cup and hot water dispenser, which can be found almost everywhere in Taipei, you can easily make a cup of coffee.
Just unscrew the bottom part (where you have already put your ground coffee), pour it into a cup up to the line, and slowly pour water over it. Wait one minute for the coffee to bloom. Then screw on the top part and enjoy your daily coffee ritual whenever you like.
USAGE SCENARIO
1. Unscrew plunger unit and coffee storage.
2. Pour ground coffee from storage into the coffee cup. Pour hot water on top.
3. Screw on plunger unit and coffee storage.
4. Wait one minute for the coffee to bloom.

MATERIALS
Stainless steel has been chosen as the internal material to keep the liquid warm. It does not leave an odor after a long period of use.
Polypropylene has been chosen for the external parts of the product.

DIMENSIONS AND PRODUCT ARCHITECTURE
Anthropometric measurements determine the size of the product. This makes the cup easy to hold and handle.
Mockup
The model was 3D printed on Prusa i3 MK2 and then assembled.
